Whispers of Gold, A Creative Journey Beyond Perfection
It all started with a single image I stumbled upon while scrolling X.
Eight Japanese philosophies. Simple words, yet they hit deep.
They weren’t just ideas. They felt like echoes of something I already knew.
Something I had lived.
So I saved the image.
That was the spark.
From there, the words began to dance in my head.
I felt called to turn them into a poem. Something soft, reflective, and a little whimsical, in the spirit of Herman van Veen (a Dutch artist known for his poetic performances, blending music, theater, and childlike wonder).
The kind of poem that doesn’t try too hard. It just is.
Raw, honest, and golden in the cracks.
Once the poem took shape, I heard music.
Not in my ears, but in my bones.
I wanted it to become more than just words on a page. I wanted it to breathe.
So I turned the poem into a musical monologue, blending spoken word with gentle singing and beautiful piano chords.
A track that feels like a deep exhale.
To bring the whole piece visually to life, I stepped into my favorite creative tools.
I used MidJourney to create matching imagery. Soft, surreal, and flowing with that same quiet power.
Then, with Luma Dream Machine, I animated those stills, giving them movement and emotion.
Now each word had a visual echo. Every frame a little heartbeat.
The final piece is more than just a video.
It’s a reminder that we don’t need to strive for perfection.
Sometimes, the most beautiful things come from simply allowing.
Allowing yourself to break.
To heal.
To grow slowly.
To whisper, instead of shout.
This was my process.
Not polished. Not planned.
But entirely aligned.
And I hope it whispers something to you too
